About Kart AI

Kart AI is two things in one site. First, a deals feed in the mold of the community deal boards you already know: people post and vote on deals, the hottest ones rise, and a plain-language write-up sits behind every one, each saying on its own card whether a person checked its price at the retailer or whether it is the retailer's listed price as posted. Second, a free cart price comparison tool: copy the text of your shopping cart, paste it in, and Kart AI checks it against several major retailers so you can see where the same basket costs least, with 90 days of price history to back it up. Pasting the cart text is the route, because a cart page itself sits behind your login and no server can read it — there is a browser extension for that, and typing items in by hand is the third way.

Deals reach Kart AI two ways. Community members post deals directly — a deal a member writes up is read by an editor before it appears on the site; a link a member sends in is written up by Kart AI and published automatically once an editor has filled in the price and what it was before, with no person reading it first. Either way it starts at a low heat. Separately, Kart AI's editors subscribe to paid deal-scout newsletters and treat them strictly as leads: the facts (product, price, retailer, coupon) get pulled out, but the write-up is always rewritten from scratch in Kart AI's own words. Some deals are published one at a time by a person who has opened the retailer's page and confirmed the price; the rest go up on the retailer's own listed price and say so on the card. Either way the card tells you which it is, and the disclosure page names every route. A newsletter blurb is never reposted as-is. Deals staff post directly carry a “Staff pick” badge; that is the only public signal of where a deal came from — the write-up itself reads the same regardless of source, because the facts are what matter.

Every deal has a heat score shown in degrees, like a real temperature. It starts around 25° when posted (a little higher once the poster's own upvote lands), and rises with upvotes, comments, and outbound clicks, and falls as downvotes come in. Heat also fades on its own — roughly half of a deal's score decays away every three days — so the front page reflects what people are into right now, not what was hot last week. Nothing about a deal's source, affiliate status, or ad spend enters that calculation; see the affiliate disclosure for the details on ranking independence.

Every deal is stamped with a time and says what that time means: either when a person last checked the price at the retailer, or — for the deals published on the retailer's own listed price — when it went up. Deals that have expired are marked clearly rather than quietly left up. Kart AI never claims a price is still accurate after that check — retailers change prices and stock without notice, so always confirm at checkout. The same freshness labeling applies to offers in the compare tool, each stamped with when it was fetched.

Outbound links may be affiliate links, and the site has room reserved for display ads (clearly labeled, and off by default). Neither one changes what you see or how deals rank. The full breakdown is on the disclosure page.

Kart AI is built and run by Seenly AI LLC, a small limited liability company based in Brooklyn, New York. It is a one-person operation: the same person writes the code, checks the prices, and answers the email.
